ELIGIBILITY RULES FORM COLLEGE:
A) A student who has passed the S. S. C. Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education will be admitted to the First Yearlunior College (F.Y.J.C.) class.
B) The student who has passed 10th year S.S.C. Examination of any other Statutory Board in India will be admitted to the First Year Junior College class provided s/he has offered and passed in English as one of the subjects. S/He must submit the Migration Certificate at the time of admission.
C) Minimum 50 % marks in S.S.C. or equivalent examination is necessary to get admission to F. Y. J. C. D) A student who has passed F. Y. J. C examination will have to produce the mark-sheet while seeking admission to S. Y. J. C.
College timings:
7.00 am to 9.00 am – Sports for all faculties of Arts, Commerce & Science.
10.25 am to 3.00 pm – Arts & Commerce
10.25 am to 4.00 pm – Science
RULES OF ADMISSION:
1) The management reserves the right of admission.
2) Students seeking admission to the junior college shall submit an application in the prescribed form duly filled In all respects.
3) Student applying for an admission is required to produce –
a) The original mark statement of S. S. C. / F. Y. J. C. along with three attested photocopies of the same.
b) School leaving certificate (original)
4) Mere submission of the admission form does not confirm a student’s admission. The management according to the merit & government rules will take the final decision of admission. The final notice will be notified as per the schedule prescribed by the institution.
5) Once the student is admitted to the junior college, she/he has to pay the full fees for the academic year.
6) The student who desires to leave the college in the middle of the term shall inform the Principal in writing and take permission.
7) Admission to the F. Y. J. C. class will start immediately after the declaration of the S. S. C. result.
8) Admission to the S. Y. J. C. class will start from March each year.
ATTENDANCE FOR JR. COLLEGE:
As per the rules of Maharashtra State Secondary & Higher Secondary Divisional Board, under section 88 (1) (a) it is compulsory for every student to be present In the classroom for more than 75% of the periods in an academic year. If its presence is less than 75%, then the student’s name shall be removed from the institution ant’ there may be a hindrance to sending his form to the Board.
VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE:
A “Vocational Guidance Center” for the following competitive examinations Is conducted which can be done simultaneously with a regular junior college course.
A) National Defense academy (N. D. A.)
B) Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (Mh-CET) for medical courses
C) M.P.S.C.
D) U.P.S.C *JEE *NEET
E) Computer courses both hardware and software like assembling PCs & application programming.
Teaching staff
All the staff members are well qualified and the ratio of staff to the student is 1:50 or less for every subject. This helps the staff to give personal attention to each and every student. This goes a long way in the development of educational, social, and cultural qualities and improves the character of every student. Regular staff training is conducted to maintain quality. All Staff are trained in First Aid, emergency evacuation & fire.
Academic Development
Our institute conducts two main examinations during the school academic year.
They are-
Terminal Examination – October/November
Annual Examination – March/April
Personal evaluation tests are constantly conducted in class and outside too. As equal importance is given to academics, sports and extra-curricular activities, all three are criteria for a student’s promotion to higher class.
For F. Y I. C. There is a semester system with two Terms. Each Term includes two tutorials, one Unit Test and a Semester examination.
For S. Y. J. C. There are tutorials, unit tests, Semester and Preliminary examination.
Physical Development
Competitive sport and Physical Training is compulsory for all students. Our institute has a separate playground for Basketball, Football, Athletics, Cricket and Hockey. Training in Yoga, Swimming, Taekwondo, Boxing, Rifle Shooting and Archery is also given to our students. The institute also organizes Summer Coaching Camp every year for each sport.
Students can also complete their quota of physical activity by taking advantage of our training in Western dance and Indian Classical dance and Hindustani Music. Classical dance and music also get our students in touch with our cultural roots.
Laboratory
Well equipped, separate Physics, Chemistry, Biology, IT laboratory is the speciality of the institution.
Library
The main building of the institution has a huge library. It is equipped with rich reference books, Indian & foreign journals, ample textbooks and books of popular reading.
Gymkhana/Club

The gymkhana provides facilities for various Olympic games such as basketball, football, athletics, hockey, swimming and other games such as boxing and taekwondo. A student must represent at least in one of these games at School Games during the academic year. Ours is the only institution in the Satara district with its own 10.5 acres of the playfield, adjacent to the school building of the institution. Our building is under CCTV surveillance for students’ safety.
