Our school under 19 girls secured 1st Rank in the District Football Championship and qualified for the Zonal Championship on 24th September 2024 at Shahu Stadium, Satara.


 

Our school under 19 boys won the Gold Medal in the District Boxing Championship and qualified for the Zonal Championship on 24th September 2024 at Shahu Stadium, Satara.

K.S.D. Shanbhag Vidyalaya & Jr.College of Arts, Commerce and Science,Satara Swimmers participated inDistrict Swimming Competition 2024 Organized by Rotary Club of Karad,
at Sangam health Club & Swimming pool, Karad
on 02nd June 2024.
  1. Miss. Chitrani Mukund Navale from 9th A secured 1st place in 50 m back stroke event, 2nd place in 50 m breast stroke event, 3rd place in 50 m freestyle event in under 16 girls age group.
  2. Miss. Aarohi Ranjit Yawatkar from 8th C secured 3rd place in 100 m freestyle event in under 16 girls age group.
  3. Ma. Rushant Ranjit Yawatkar from 4th A secured 2nd place in 50 m Breast stroke event in under 13 boys age group.
  4. Ma. Arnav Kiran Gaikwad from 7th C secured 3rd place in 50 m freestyle and 100 m freestyle events under 13 age group.
Winners were awarded with Certificate and Medals.

4 National Championship Titles in 2023


  • Shlok Vikram Ghorpade studying commerce in our Jr. College has created history in the Indian Bike Racing scene by winning 4 National Championship Titles in a single year at the tender age of 16.
  • MRF National Dirt Track Championship & MRF National Supercross Championship are 2 different styles of race tracks. 16 yrs. old Shlok raced in 5 round of Dirt Track Championship & 6 round of Supercross Championship held all over India.
  • He had participated in 3 categories –
    • Under 16 yrs. called the Jr. Sx1 class.
    • Privateers category called the Sx2 class.
    • The elite Foreign open category called the Sx1 class.
  • Shlok did his best in every round & has been consistently winning 3 trophies in each round. So that’s 15 Dirt Track trophies & 18 Supercross trophies. The icing in the cake was when he won 1 Best Rider Trophy in Dirt Track & Supercross by the end of this racing season. All-in-all, he has won 35 trophies in one racing season. He is the first racer in India to have won so many championship Titles – 4 National Championship Titles – at age 16.
  • He is the first from Satara city to have won the Best Rider trophies in Dirt Track & Supercross Championships.
  • Shlok is a deligent, dedicated & driven student. It is a very proud Moment for all of us.
